After Re-election: Ngah Christian Vows To Make CENPA Inclusive, Move A Notch Higher

Kristian Ngah Christian Mbipgo, Publisher of the lone-English Language daily newspaper, The Guardian Post has retained his post as President of the Cameroon English Language Newspaper Publishers’ Association, CENPA. He was overwhelmingly re-elected without any opposition on Friday, April 10, 2026 during a CENPA General Assembly that held in Bengo Hotel, Ebolowa, South Region.

Known for his unparalleled lobby force, a savvy proactive nature, and as a leveler, Kristian Ngah Christian won the trust of his peers for another four years. His leadership skills since the creation of CENPA has helped propel the association to the limelight, and it was normal for publishers to give him a pat on the back by re-lifting him to the helm.

In his re-election acceptance speech, Ngah Christian promised to make CENPA inclusive to those who fulfil adhesion criteria, and to take the association a notch higher.

The versatile CENPA President who also holds other positions in media associations, will be assisted by other members of mettle.  The Publisher of the Limbe-based The Sun Newspaper, Wasso Norbert will serve as First Vice President, while the Publisher of The Horizon Newspaper, Ndikum Gerald will serve as the Second Vice President.

The Promoter of the Ultimate Media Group, Dr. Olive Ejang will hold the keys of the Secretariat of CENPA as Secretary General, while the Publisher of The Reporter Newspaper, Teneng Lucas Chefor will sit in as Deputy Secretary General. The Publisher of The Voice Newspaper, Theodore M. Ndze is the Treasurer, while the Publisher of Eco-Outlook, Elias Ngalame will holds the records as the Financial Secretary.

The Herald Tribune Publisher, Richard Nde will serve as the Public Relations Officer while Cameroon Echoes Publisher, Ndiba Williams Itoe will serve as the Pioneer Organizing Secretary of CENPA while Solomon Agborem of The Dawn will serve as the Pioneer Disputes Officer. Choves Loh of The News and Abong Clextus of Eden are the auditors. Veteran journalist Martin Nkemngu of Africa Excellence Magazine and Bouddih Adams of The Post will serve as advisers.

It is worthy to recall that the CENPA General Assembly held after a one-day intensive workshop on the theme: “Consolidating National Unity: The Role of the Media.”
