On August 22, 2025, the André Nodem–Yonshi Nyù Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to educational empowerment by supporting pupils of the Cameroon Baptist Convention (CBC) School Nkambe. Through its annual “Giving Back to the Community” initiative, the Foundation distributed school bags, books, writing materials, and Certificates of Excellence to the top five pupils in each class from Class One to Class Six for the 2024/2025 academic year.
Beyond academic excellence, the Foundation extended its compassion to over 100 vulnerable, internally displaced, and high-performing children, ensuring they too received essential school supplies to begin the year with dignity and hope.
This third edition of the program—following the 2024 phase in Kungi village—was held at the CBC School grounds, drawing together parents, guardians, and children in a celebration of generosity and shared purpose. The initiative honors the legacy of the late Pa André Nodem, whose vision continues to inspire efforts in education, health, and community development.
Representing the field pastor, school proprietor Reverend Ntunyu expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Foundation, emphasizing the positive impact such gestures have on academic performance and family morale. He assured the gathering that prayers would continue for the Foundation and its Founder, Mr. Eric Keunne, so that their mission may flourish and reach even more lives.
Speaking on behalf of the Fon of Nkambe, His Majesty Fai Nkfu Nyap, a representative hailed the Foundation as a beacon of hope for the people of Nkambe and the broader Donga Mantung community. He urged the population to rally behind the Foundation’s leadership with prayers and support, ensuring its continued success in uplifting future generations.
