Edison Fru Ndi, NW Regional Delegate For CCIMA Sets Pace For Adaptive Nets And Inclusion Project

Edison Fru Ndi, the North West Regional Delegate for the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Crafts, and who also doubles as CEO of Dreamland Connect, has set the pace for the Adaptive Nets and Inclusion Project which aims at propelling to the pinnacle of success budding businesses in the region. The palpable, attractive and strategic business plan by the NW CCIMA is aimed at empowering young entrepreneurs and to strengthen those operating in the medium-sized enterprises. In this vein, CCIMA North West has earmarked building the capacities of those on the field, mentor them and provide financial assistance to start-ups in a bid to promote inclusive economic growth of youths and vulnerable groups in the region.

According to a press release signed by Edison Fru Ndi, NW CCIMA Delegate, the earmarked competition seeks to motivate, stimulate local production and encourage innovation. It therefore aims at promoting viable business plans that can leverage to veritable sources of income.

The Business Plan Competition targets some 150 youths in the North West Region. It concerns those who are already engaged in some business and have been operating for at least three years. The funding is intended to help them scale-up production or embarked on innovative ways of doing business. This will help create jobs in their various communities that will employ more youths. Those selected could benefit from financial assistance ranging between FCFA 5.5 Million and FCFA 11 million.

The competition concerns those aged between 18 and 35 years and all sectors of the economy are encouraged. The competition will go operational in March 2026 and projects will be submitted exclusively through an online platform.

While waiting for the operation phase, Edison Fru Ndi has encouraged young entrepreneurs to seize the opportunity and emancipate themselves through economic empowerment as prescribed by the Head of State, President Paul Biya.
