Sunday, April 26, 2026 was not an ordinary day at the Nico Halle Law Firm situated in Bonaberi, Douala, the economic capital of Cameroon It could not be ordinary, given that a guest of high repute, H.E. Mathew David Woods, the British High Commissioner to Cameroon had stepped foot there for the first time. And to come to think of it that, the British Diplomat was not there for a legal consultation, but to have a working visit with Sir Dr. Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle and visit his now talk-of-the-town Award Gallery that has morphed into a veritable source of inspiration.

After having a working visit with Sir Dr Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle, and feeding his eyes on the numerous distinctions, with more than 80% of them awarded for peace crusading, the British Diplomat intimated that he was more than impressed, and was happy to speak, especially with someone who has spent decades crusading peace.

The Sir Dr. Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle Award Gallery in itself speaks volumes, not in terms of the more than 200 national, international honours and distinctions therein, but in the amplified justification of them being bestowed on one individual, whose life mantra of peace crusading, the seeking of a just society, devoid of the evils of moral decadence and corruption, cuts across all boards.

According to Sir Dr. Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle, the visit of the high-profile diplomat from Great Britain was heartwarming, given that he represents the United Kingdom in Cameroon. Ntumfor said his take-home message was to challenge world leaders to seek peace and maintain peace in the world. Ntumfor Nico Halle wondered aloud whether the security councils of world bodies were working accordingly. Whatever the case, he pleaded with them to assume their role which is to provide peace and they can do this by constantly monitoring conflict zones in the world and working relentlessly to bring lasting peace. Sir Dr. Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle said as a peace crusader, he is not only concerned about peace in Cameroon, given that he has awards and acknowledgment from all over the world on peace and good governance, election management and the fight against moral decadence. Sir Dr. Barrister Ntumfor added that he was confident that the high profile visitor in the person of the British High Commissioner had all what it takes to send the message to those creating conflicts that are affecting humanity.

Worthy to recall that the visit of the British High Commissioner, was just one out of many visits to the Sir Dr. Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle Award Gallery by diverse high-profile personalities of recent. In spite of Ntumfor’s reticence of making the Award Gallery an inclusive space which is not for money making, the numerous solicitations by people of all walks of life begins to reshape the future of the gallery as a useful source of inspiration and research, necessitating a fee for visiting for its upkeep..
