The Man Knighted For Unparalleled Sports Development
Ifose Emile Mbella’s recognition by the Head of State, H.E. Paul Biya, for his incessant and valuable contributions to the development of Basketball and futsal in Cameroon, can be rightly described as the icing of his professional career. The man seen by many as calm, proactive and a goal-oriented person is the President of the South West Regional League of Basketball. He is both a Senior Instructor and Coach, as well as consultant and member of the Board of Directors of the Cameroon Basketball Federation. Apart from being a technical supervisor, Ifose Emile Mbella is also a team manager and 2nd Assistant Coach of the U18 Cameroon National Basketball team, with a silver Medal for the U18 team at the African Basketball Championship.
The multiple-certificate holder in Sports, Physical Education, Education Phycology, Counselling and sports Science from renowned International Universities and Institutes is also a sports curricula developer. He also holds a B.Sc. in Accountancy and has held several positions of responsibilities in sports federations and institutions. Ifose Emile Mbella is also an award winner as in November 2025, he received the prize of the Best Community Actor in the South West Region from the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Civic Education.
He is not only a researcher but also a writer having published handbooks in sports.
